Dear Colleagues,

It gives us great pleasure to invite you to participate in XVI Turku PET Symposium, which will be held on 6 – 9 June 2025 in Turku, Finland.

The Symposium is targeted to all investigators and staff working with cyclotrons, PET radiochemistry, modelling and software development, as well as preclinical and clinical PET imaging. The Symposium offers a great opportunity to network with your colleagues and to broaden your understanding on the rapidly developing research applications of PET, including the recent technological advances in the field.

The programme covers the whole PET research field from new tracer development to clinical applications of PET, focusing especially to the recent advances in total body PET imaging. The scientific programme consists of plenary lectures, free papers and posters. In addition, there will be special sessions for early career-researchers and technologists.

Next year we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of PET radiochemistry at Turku, which will be highlighted in a special PET radiochemistry anniversary session.
